Photography

We are all about unlocking potential, being innovative and making a difference in the lives of the patients we ultimately serve—our photography should visually support that story at every turn. We know selecting photography can be daunting. If you have questions or need help, please connect with us.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Photos should feel genuine and credible
  • Photos should be set in real-life environments and have an honest, candid, documentary-style feeling
  • People should look natural and relaxed, never posed or staged
  • Product hero images are bright, clean and natural. Silhouetted products look best on white backgrounds
  • Terumo BCT applications and products should always be in focus

Defining photography values

An image might not provide all of the values below; however, it should encompass at least three from this list.

  • Discovery
  • Positive
  • Authentic
  • Innovative
  • Educational

Image Library

Photo assets are organized first by customer segment, then product line and finally photography style.

What to Avoid

  • Generic stock images
  • Photos where the subject looks straight at the camera
  • Photos that feel posed
  • Photos captured with your phone or other “snapshots”
  • Product imagery with solid backgrounds
